The company was started by the Raab family of Philadelphia brothers Norman and Max, and Max's wife Mary Jones Raab. The Villager was started as a blouse company, though they soon were making other separates and sleepwear. In 1969, the Raabs sold The Villager.
PLUSH AND LUSCIOUS 1960s made in a thick, well constructed gorgeous pattern and shades. Skirt is high waisted and trimmed at the side with black swirled cord trim. Closes at the side with large hooks and a metal zipper offsetting a deep side slit. Fully lined. FABULOUS piece!
